“With contagious peace and a kind heart, Alyssa believes in the potential of all people and is devoted to bringing love, hope, and freedom to those around her. Whether it’s through an encounter at the grocery store, during a business meeting, or from stage, Alyssa strives to help others discover the power of their own purpose and freedom in their personal stories.
Like most women, she wears many hats – military spouse, mom of three young kids, marketer, writer, counselor, public speaker, and storyteller. She is a true American Girl - having lived in every part of the United States over the course of her life. For the time being, she has settled in North Carolina where she and her husband hope to spend the next several years raising their children and resting their souls.
Through personal ministry, dream interpretation, writing, and public speaking Alyssa seeks to blow the doors off of personal prisons that people build around themselves. She believes in the power of encouragement and truth and dedicates her time to sharing that with those around her.
Alyssa has written several books, but they're all in her head or on her laptop because she can't get her act together long enough to figure out how to publish something. If you Google her name, you’re more likely to see it linked with photography. Hopefully, this website will change some of that soon.
For over 15 years, Alyssa worked as photojournalist. Her work has been nationally recognized and published by several national organizations including, NBC, Fox News, CNN, the Associated Press. She has worked directly for former President Barak Obama, former Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, current Chief of Staff - GEN Mark A. Milley, and several other internationally recognized humans.
She won’t try to sell you anything, but Alyssa did experience unexpected success in the network marketing industry. Although she might share some of her favorites from time-to-time, that’s not what this website is about.
Alyssa worked as the Director of Events and Promotions for CEED, a local 28-year-old nonprofit. You might recognize her from local food truck events and her time running the What The Truck Program.
Alyssa is very involved in the local community and volunteers as a spouse mentor for military spouses affiliated with United States Army Special Operations Command at Fort Bragg. She also is in leadership at her local church where she is part of the choir and volunteers her time as a lay-counselor.
Most days, you can find her sitting on her deck sipping coffee, or sitting on her friend's deck sipping wine, or sitting at her desk sipping tea.... generally she likes to be somewhere hydrating. “
